Job Description

Do you have experience and knowledge of licensing and brand licensing, and come from a Head of Studio background?

Do you excel at managing studio resources within a creative or advertising agency environment, with an excellent understanding of the workings and processes of on and offline creative assets, ensuring a smooth workflow?

We have an incredible opportunity for you to join a global full-service creative agency with strong presence in the UK and US, who works predominantly with the world’s largest entertainment companies – Paramount, Disney, Universal, Lucas Films and EA to name a few.

With over two decades of experience and a 20 strong team, they bring passion, talent, and extensive market knowledge to every project, offering a comprehensive understanding of both global and local market, tailoring their services to meet their clients’ unique needs through dynamic design –  from concept through to delivery which ranges from visual guidelines, key art, sales material, character art, core guidelines, packaging, POS, marketing toolkits, retail guides, trend kits, DTR, retailtainment and more…

The role reports into the MD and is London based (remote working for now).

ROLE PURPOSE

  • Responsible for scheduling, tracking, and verifying tasks handled within the studio, acting as the link between US and UK teams.
  • Prioritisation of tasks and ensuring briefs and explanations are provided to Developers and Designers (both projects and maintenance).

CORE SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and maintain the production schedule, assigning requests to appropriate resources, liaising daily with the project/account management team on resource requirements.
  • Manage daily workflow of project requirements to creative and development teams and freelance resources as required, ensuring time is logged accurately and promptly.
  • Establish and plan for future resource needs and recruiting permanent and contract resources as needed.
  • Optimise efficiency and productivity of all studio resources, ensuring capacity is maximised.
  • Manage and develop the communication flow, processes and infrastructure between the studio and project management team.
  • Ensure quality assurance (QA) process is implemented on all projects, ensuring all work is quality controlled by the appropriate people before client receipt.
  • Manage maintenance accounts – main contact for day-to-day maintenance requests (not client facing), including seeing requests through from submission to final approval and producing monthly maintenance status reports.
  • Confident with excellent communication and relationship skills at all levels.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Experience in team working and managing suppliers, senior management, designers, and clients.
  • Motivating and positive attitude.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Respectful and collaborative.
