Job Description
Looking for a detective of information – someone who can gather facts and opinions and turn them into a single minded proposition that does more than describe a service and who can push a client brief into places they don’t know exists.
If you are an experienced Planner / Strategist and would like to be the Lead Strategist and create and run your own team and function in a highly established and fast growing integrated agency then this is for you.
Our client is an established and successful agency that has a diverse range of briefs covering many communication channels for financial services, travel and retail clients.
This particular agency has seen it all and maintained their position throughout the ups and downs. In fact, where other businesses may be struggling right now, this one is growing with a number of live opportunities across all departments.
Nuts and bolts:
Due to their continued growth they are now seeking a Senior Strategist that has the experience and ability to be the driving force behind this agency’s strategic offering. Freeing up the founding directors to focus on operational and growth initiatives.
This role is perfect for an experienced Strategist or Planner who has managed small teams but has the confidence and gravitas to break the status quo. If you see the need to change things, then you’ll be given the tools to do so. We want forward thinking strategist, not a yes person who wants the easy road.
This position is a client-facing role and will see you working across the full client portfolio. Working closely with the founding partners and management teams.
To be suitable for the role you will have already had experience as a Senior Strategist or Planner gained at a reputable marketing agency or consultancy within the B2B or B2C sector.
You will play a key role in the agency’s wider leadership team and be part of our exciting growth plans. You enjoy helping clients solve their strategic challenges, through smart and innovative thinking, and by delivering creative work, that is on brief and on strategy.
You will be responsible for developing and transforming strategies into creative solutions, working closely with teams, and ensuring client objectives are met.
To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop strategies that are insightful, relevant, innovative, and effective. You thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment and can motivate those around you to produce best-in-class work.
In return for your skills and experience as a Senior Strategist our client is offering a competitive salary between £50-70k plus great benefits and a bonus depending on relevant experience.
