Job Description

We have a phenomenal opportunity for you to join a multiple award winning events company that produces high end virtual and face-to-face global events within the corporate and B2B tech space across industries that include tech, cloud services, leisure, government and financial, offering a broad range of services from 12,000+ delegate events through to private dinners designed to facilitate conversations that matter.

ROLE PURPOSE

To communicate the agency’s brand to its target audiences and to oversee day-to-day marketing activities.

The role is based in London (5 days in their office which is based in Southwest London) and reports into the Business Development & Marketing Director and manages a Marketing & Social Media Executive.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in executing and inputting into overall business marketing plan in line with OKRs
  • Knowledge of executing and monitoring SEO to drive traffic to the website
  • Supporting company website updates and edits (hosted on squarespace)
  • Planning, developing and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns
  • Sourcing advertising, collaboration and partnership opportunities which link to the overall marketing plan
  • Working in collaboration with the Marketing and Social Media Executive and overseeing the running of all social media channels (Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn) to enhance audience engagement and reach, analysing data to inform decision making
  • Tracking marketing performance and return on investment and prepare reports and updates for management and the business when required, interpreting data
  • Evaluating and reviewing marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective
  • Maintaining effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
  • Supporting copywriting and proofreading company marketing content when required (including, but not limited to, social media, emails, blogs, press releases and website)
  • Maintaining marketing plan tracker
  • Maintaining and updating supplier databases/CRM
  • Supporting with market research where needed, for example using customer questionnaires
  • Monitoring and reporting on competitor activity (working with the Marketing and Social Media Executive), keeping abreast of market changes and brainstorm potential improvements or changes in marketing strategy or service innovations
  • Researching all industry news, industry trends, marketing trends and emerging technologies
  • Attending industry networking events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Overseeing all award entries and research
  • Supporting the Content Producer with PR and brand messaging for the Founder including drafting personal responses, copywriting, interviews, Q&A’s and overseeing the image library
  • Monitoring and managing company publication relationships, subscriptions and be aware of business opportunities
  • Creative budget management, making budgets maximise ROI
  • Process spending and reconcile the assigned areas of the marketing budget

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Strong MS Office, GSuite & Adobe Suite skills
  • SEO and Google Adwords experience
  • Experience using Reporting Tools such as Google Analytics and Salesforce
  • Experienced across social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Deadline driven multi-tasker with strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • PR / events background preferable

Our client is offering a salary of £35 – 40k plus benefits of 28 days hols (incl. public hols), additional day holiday per year of service (capped at 5), Birthday off, Pension and Fitness membership after probation.  Being a fun and social agency – they also have Thursday office drinks, Pay Day Friday – early finish (3pm), many socials and team activity days – including weekend mini-breaks.
