Job Description
Our client is a highly established B2B marcoms agency that was originally launched in the US and now operate across the US, UK and EMEA markets.
Their area of expertise falls within demand gen, content marketing and integrated marcomms and they currently work with some of the worlds biggest Tech brands.
This particular agency has seen it all and maintained their position throughout the ups and downs. In fact, where other businesses may be struggling right now, this one is growing with a number of live opportunities across all departments.
Due to continued wins and organic growth we are now seeking a UK based Account Director to run a small portfolio of well-known tech brands, whilst being supported by your Group Account Director and teams in both the US and UK.
Nuts and bolts:
Specialising in the B2B tech space, they work with a number of global tech brands creating and delivering strategy lead campaigns. Although integrated two of their key strengths is within demand gen and content marketing. So, from your side, experience in Demand Gen will be essential.
As a mid sized agency, they don’t micro manage so this role won’t be for you if you need hand holding. Rather, they like to hire people who can take responsibility and get on with managing multiple client relationships and teams.
To be suitable for this role as Account Director you will need to have the following skills as a must:
- Highly experienced at client development and management within the B2B tech space
- Solid strategic experience although you will be working with a planning team
- Experience in Demand Gen within a B2B agency – essential
- Proven track record in client growth – you will be working with your Group Account Director on developing the client portfolio
- Ability to lead, manage and motivate your delivery team – a positive and supportive influence
- Happy and willing to roll up your sleeves– no ivory tower moments here
- Strong knowledge in digital and social marketing as well as the obvious integrated channels as well
- Excellent communications skills with a proven track record in running a successful P&L
In return for your skills and experience as an Account Director or perhaps a Senior Account Director, our client offers a very competitive salary ranging between £55-70k plus benefits. This role will be a fully remote role but due to client location you would be required to live in the UK and ideally be based in the London or South West area.
